It’s that time of year again. Hurricane season started on June 1st. If you don’t have flood insurance, now’s a good time to call for a quote. Remember, there’s a 30-day waiting period once your policy is issued.

We are proud to serve Sherman, Denison, Howe, Pottsboro and our surrounding Grayson County communities. In addition, our agency is licensed to serve the entire states of Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. We’re passionate about helping individuals, families, and business owners protect what matters most! I’ve been a State Farm agent for 12 years, and I’m driven to provide dependable service, clear communication, and coverage that fits each customer’s needs.

I grew up in Oneida, New York, and attended Springfield College in Massachusetts. My amazing wife, Paula, and I have lived here in Sherman since 1994, and this community has truly become home for our family. We have one daughter, Allee, and we’re proud grandparents to Hudson and Hayden!

Outside of the office, I love all things sports, especially football! I was a College Football All-American in 1982 and 1983 before spending time with the Patriots. Giving back is important to me; I serve as the President of the Share Ministries Food Bank and stay involved locally as a Chamber member in Sherman and Howe, TX.

Our agency offers a wide range of insurance products, including Auto, Homeowners, Condo, Renters, Life, Health, Business, Motorcycle, Boat, RV, Recreational Vehicle, and Pet Insurance, along with many additional coverage options. I also hold my security license, which allows me to assist customers with additional financial service needs. My team and I focus on strong customer service and attention to detail, ensuring questions are answered and concerns are addressed quickly and clearly.

Building long-term relationships is a priority in our office. We take time to listen, learn what’s important to each customer, and stay responsive when needs change. Whether someone is reaching out for a quote, a coverage review, or help after an unexpected event, we’re here to make the process easier.

If you’re in the Grayson County area and looking for an agency that will treat you with care and attention, my team and I would love to help. Call, message, or stop by anytime - we look forward to serving you today!

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q: How can I compare auto insurance quotes?

A: Getting a car insurance quote is easier than you might think. You can start online, give our office a call, or stop by to talk through your options. We'll help walk you through coverage choices and help you find something that fits your needs. Ed, your local State Farm agent in Sherman, TX, is here to help.

Q: How soon can I get insured for my car?

A: In some cases, car insurance coverage can begin the same day you purchase a policy. The timing may vary depending on your situation. We can help you get coverage quickly when you need it. Connect with Ed for insurance guidance in Sherman.

Q: What coverage is required when leasing a car?

A: Leased vehicles typically require more coverage than the state minimums. In addition to liability insurance, leasing companies usually require comprehensive and collision coverage, and you may need to list the leasing company on your policy as an additional insured or loss payee. In Sherman, you can count on Ed for personalized service.

Q: What happens when you have life insurance in place?

A: Life insurance provides a payout to your chosen beneficiaries if you pass away while the policy is active. It can help give your loved ones financial support when they may need it most. Ed is here to help your Sherman household feel covered.

Q: What's typically covered by a homeowners insurance policy?

A: Homeowners insurance can help protect your home, personal property, personal liability, and additional living expenses after a covered loss. Looking for coverage? Talk with Ed about your options in Sherman.

Q: What exactly is renters insurance and how does it work?

A: Renters insurance is a policy designed to help protect your personal belongings and provide liability coverage while you're renting a home or apartment. It focuses on your possessions and potential risks, rather than the building itself, which is typically covered by your landlord's policy. Ed is proud to serve the Sherman community.
